Louis B, Gordon, 69, of Wilkes-Barre, passed away peacefully Saturday, Aug. 14 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Francis and Rose Pasquini Gordon. He was a 1970 graduate of GAR Memorial High School, Wilkes-Barre and attended Penn State University. He had worked with and retired from the Luzerne County workforce development agency.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Gordon; nephews, Joe Hodle and Brian Hodle; brother-in-law, Joseph Hodle; and a great-nephew, Aaron Hodle.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Joan; sisters, Geri Hodle, Wilkes-Barre, Paulette Becker and husband, Ron, Shavertown; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Jendrzejewski Funeral Home, 21 S. Meade St., Wilkes-Barre, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Hope Parish, 40 Park Ave., Wilkes-Barre.
Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Church of the Maternity Cemetery, West Wyoming.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
